The cross-departmental electives that I took not only rounded out my skills and knowledge, but allowed me to explore my interests and to make connections with faculty and students from other departments. Upon graduation, I was offered a fellowship with the new design school on campus, the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford. This experience broadened my interest in design, I now am focused on doing human factors product research not just for education, but for other populations as well.
