Welcome to Academic Computing's Help Pages

The Academic Computing mission is specifically focused on the uses of computer technology in support of academics: teaching, learning, and research. If you are looking for assistance with the university's technical infrastructure, (e.g. email, AFS, Networking) then you probably want to visit Information Technology Systems and Services (ITSS).

To the left, you will find links to the most obvious sources of help within Academic Computing.

The "Publications Content Index" provides a wide array of informational and technical documentation that covers general information about computing on campus and supports Academic Computing's projects, facilities, and services.

The link to "Meyer Consulting" connects you to a vast resource of documents, instructions, FAQ's and tips on tech-oriented topics ranging from AFS to Zip disks.

The "Coursework" link takes you to a sub-section of the Academic Technology Lab's web site and provides specific information on how to interact with Stanford's premier course management system. Whether you are a faculty member wishing to set up a coursework site, or a student needing to get materials from your class page, this link will get you to the information you need.

More than likely, one of these resources will provide the answers you need, but if not, then follow this link to submit a HelpSU request.
