Chi Omega is about sisterhood. The women of Chi Omega make up a group that dares to be distinctive, one full of women who are excited by everything that Chi Omega has to offer and who are eager to meet and create genuine connections with each and every one of their sisters. These are the women who will never fail to bring you a birthday surprise, who are always up for going out on the weekend, who will rally at your performances and campus events, and who will simply be there when you need them—we are your friends for life.
One of the advantages of being an un-housed sorority is that you can find Chi O's wherever you go—from Mirrielees and Toyon, all the way across campus to GovCo and Suites, and everywhere in between. Wherever you are, you’re sure to find a familiar face. You’ll run into Chi O’s at LSJUMB rehearsal and on stage with the cast of Gaieties and The Real World. You’ll see us cheering on our sisters as they compete for championships in rugby and squash and dance up a storm in Alliance Streetdance. Whether you’re in Econ 1, in Bio lab, or studying overseas in Florence for a quarter, you’re sure to have a sister sitting next to you in class.
Chi Omegas are always on the go, but we never forget to make time for fun. Whether it's dressing up for a formal in San Francisco, grabbing lunch at Tresidder, gathering for Full Moon on the Quad, or enjoying a barbeque with a fraternity on a Saturday afternoon, the sisters of Chi Omega always have a full—yet manageable—social calendar. Some of our favorite recent events have been our “James Bond: Chi-sinO Royale” party and this winter’s “Pirates of the Chi-O-bbean” special dinner. An important part of life as a Chi O is community service, so we host an annual fundraiser for our national philanthropy, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to help make a child’s dreams come true. We also join forces with local and on-campus groups to contribute to various other philanthropic causes—who could forget how much fun we had last spring rallying for 24 hours with our ‘80s-themed Relay for Life team? And, of course, we always look forward to sisterhood retreats, girls-only outings, and weekly coffee dates at the CoHo after formal meeting.

Despite our diverse interests and extracurriculars, and regardless of what sorts of activities we are doing on any given day, Chi Omega is a group that prides itself on being individually unique, but together complete. Chi Omega is a common bond that holds all of us together as one cohesive unit—we love every one of our sisters, and we would love to get to know you, too. Going through ISC Recruitment is a great opportunity to meet women from all over campus, so we encourage you to attend and to find the group of women that is right for you. We can’t wait to meet you at Recruitment, and we hope that your Greek experience will be as rewarding as ours has been. Look out for the X’s and O’s!
