Intersorority Council

As your 2007 ISC Recruitment Chairs, we would like to invite you to participate in Recruitment this spring! Becoming a member of a Greek organization is an enriching experience, and we would encourage anyone even thinking about joining a Greek organization to participate in Recruitment and see for yourself what being Greek at Stanford is all about. Brought to Stanford in 1893, sororities continue to be a vibrant part of student life today. The Inter-Sorority Council represents 5 of the 11 sororities at Stanford: Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi, Chi Omega and Delta Delta Delta. Each chapter is made up of accomplished, diverse, and unique women who are very excited to share their experience as a part of a Greek chapter with you.

This prospectus is designed to enable you to explore the wide variety of sororities available to you on campus. Below you will find links to profiles of each of the 5 ISC sororities. To find information about the rest of the sororities at Stanford, follow the navigation to the left under Multicultural Governing Council and African-American Fraternal/Sororal Association. It is our hope that by reading this prospectus, attending the Recruitment panels, and participating in the Recruitment process you will be able to learn what it means to be Greek at Stanford. Even if you didn't think of yourself as a 'sorority girl,' we strongly encourage you to consider attending Orientation this spring. Greek life at Stanford has a lot to offer: unparalleled leadership opportunities, community service involvement, networking, sisterhood, and a fun and lively social scene!

Becoming a member of a sorority is an invaluable experience that will shape your college years. If after reading this prospectus you have further questions about anything, please do not hesitate to contact us! We look forward to meeting you during Recruitment this year!

Best,

Natalie Chang, Kate Hayes, Mari Maekawa
