Stanford University’s calendar system, Sundial, is the preferred calendar used by employees in the Frances C. Arrigalla Alumni Center. The calendar is currently being used for the following purposes:

• Personal calendars
• Group calendars
• Resource calendars

The application also has an option for an Address Book, but this additional feature will not be covered here. The University also gives you the option to view your calendar online at http://sundial.stanford.edu. The online version does not contain an address book.

This resource site will cover the basics of using Sundial and the specifics that apply only to the Alumni Center. Each section will provide you with a brief overview that you can use along with Sundial. If you are a new user, we recommend starting from the top section ("Get Started") and visit each section until you reach the last section ("Find Resources"). You can print out more detailed directions on each section or view a video tutorial. You do need Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0+ to view the detailed instructions. This should already be installed on your computer.
