- Interests:
Chiu's research focuses on the integration
of operations research models in economic analysis. Areas of
applications include economics and pricing of transportation
and telecommunications systems. He just completed a text on
Probabilistic Analysis with extensive
use of spreadsheet in solving real world problems. He also introduces
the practice of Probability Clinics
(with a companion booklet) to examine probability problems,
integrating modeling, processing and presentation of probabilistic
information.
