- You are enrolled in the correct HIPAA training program AND the Training Program is current (you are timely in completing your training). Please check the "My Learning" section in STARS.

- EH&S Hosted Training - Several Safety Training courses are hosted by EH&S, and require connection with an EH&S server. Some courses may require a secondary registration process. Please see the EH&S Training FAQ page for additional information.

Managers' Job Aids
Training and Documentation Resources - STARS for University Managers.
STARS Manager Self-Service (MSS) - ** NEW!! (10/03/09) **Manager Self-Service enables Managers and Supervisors to view the STARS Learning Records of their direct reports and of those within the organization tree below them. Managers can view Learning Records for individual staff members or for their entire Team. Managers may add recommended training to the Learning Plans, and view the Certification Status, of anyone in their organization tree.
Managers will also receive copies of Notifications for Certification Completions, Warnings and Expirations of their direct reports.
STARS defines a "Manager" as the "Reports to" person listed in employees' PeopleSoft HR job record (the same structure used for Axess Timecard reporting).

Learner History Reporters' Job Aids
Those who need to be able to
report on the Learning Histories
of staff in their departments (but do not need any other Administrator
authority in STARS) may be assigned the Learning History Reporter role.
Once assigned, this role enables the individual to run Learning History
Reports from the ReportMart1 portal.
