Leslie Berlin is a visiting scholar in the Program in the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology. She is also the Project Historian for the Silicon Valley Archives at Stanford (svarchive.stanford.edu). Her research interests include the history Silicon Valley and the history of high-technology industries. She received her Ph.D. in History from Stanford in 2001 and also holds a B.A. from Yale.

Berlin's first book, The Man Behind the Microchip: Robert Noyce and the Invention of Silicon Valley, is a biography of Intel co-founder and microchip co-inventor Robert Noyce. More about the book and Leslie Berlin can be found at www.themanbehindthemicrochip.com.
