  • The ethical principles of the Belmont Report and the legal requirements of the Federal regulations for the protection of human subjects (45 CFR 46) are incorporated into the FWA.

  • As a researcher, you are expected to know when the requirements of Stanford's FWA apply to your research.

  • The Stanford Research Compliance Office is available to assist you in understanding and complying with the Stanford FWA.
