The DLCL has moved to a new website: dlcl.stanford.edu.
At Stanford, I was first TA, then RA, at Slavianskii Dom. I also worked at Hoover Library and edited the CREES newsletter.
After Stanford, I worked in Washington, DC, at a series of administrative positions at various nonprofits dealing with CEE/FSU, worked for about 9 months in St. Petersburg on a CREES fellowship, spent a semester at Yale Law School, and ended up at the Treasury Department supporting their financial advisors to CEE/FSU governments.
In 2000 we moved to San Diego and since then I've been out of the Russian studies field. Instead, I've been taking courses on copyediting and indexing with plans to work in that field after the kids are a little older. (Of course, I hope to carve out a niche copyediting and indexing books in our field!)
I'm currently a stay-at-home mom. My husband, Georg Thomas, and I have a daughter, Elizabeth, born November 2004, and we're expecting another.
