More about our Tutors
CTL Peer Tutors are undergraduates or coterm students recommended by a faculty member. They have received training on how to tutor, and are eager to share their knowledge.

The students who most need tutoring are usually the ones who are least likely to seek help on their own--If you feel shy about consulting a tutor during their scheduled hours, you can contact the tutor via e-mail (see our Tutor Bios), or email tutoringhelp@stanford.edu and we will hook you up with the right person.

After your professor and TAs, Peer Tutors are the first line of defense--Students who are struggling with material are encouraged to consult a tutor for help, especially if they are unable to make office hours.

Any student can consult any tutor during their scheduled hours--While Resident Tutors are meant to cater specially to the needs of the dorm, they will be more than happy to help any student.
