Working or interning abroad can be a wonderful experience and a great addition to your resume. Below are some resources to help you get started. When going abroad you will need to start your search well in advance, at least two to three months, as it takes time to get work permits, work/internship placements, housing arrangements, etc.

Provides work permits for students and recent grads to work for 3-6 months in France, Ireland, Germany, Canada, Costa Rica, Australia (non-student work permits too) and New Zealand. A Stanford based program placing students in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos and Japan for 2 years to teach. Also has a summer internship program(student status required) in China and Vietnam for teaching and Indonesia for marine conservation.
