Readings from Blink

Malcolm Gladwell’s best-seller Blink (Little, Brown and Company, 2005) is, as his subtitle describes it, a book about “Thinking without Thinking.” I will talk about how some of the ideas raised in Blink relate to philosophical conceptions of thought at the end of my lecture on Thursday.
