biology major. Is psych 1 a prerequisite?
A: Psych 1 is
not a prerequisite.
Q:
Will the course require a lot of mathematical computation?
A: No.
Q:
Will this be a large course?
A: This is
a small course. The maximum is 20 students, but fewer is
better.
Q: How do you limit the number of students enrolled?
A: It has not been a problem in the past. The
course appeals mainly to bio majors but is not listed as a bio
course.
Q: How
disadvantageous is it to not have a great deal of previous
exposure to the topic?
A: The less you know the more you will learn--given
that you have had basic biology.
Q: How much work
is involved?
A: A sample class answered as follows: "Compared with
other classes you have taken at Stanford, how much time have you
spent on this course: Much Less 0, Less 1, Same 13, More
6, Much more: 0
