Three assignments in total will be given. Everyone has the option of either doing two assignments plus a project or all three assignments. The project involves reading a selection of one or more papers on either Monte Carlo theory or a (non-trivial) application, with written report of three or more pages and a short (10 minutes) oral presentation.
