CEE-151/ME-207/MS&E-285/CEE-251
Negotiation styles and processes to help students conduct and review
negotiations. Workshop format integrating intellectual and experiential
learning. Exercises, live and field examples, individual and small group
reviews. Application required before first day of class.
For Fall Quarter 2007 the class will be from 5:15-7:00 on Mondays and
3:15-5:05 on Thursdays in Thornton 110. The first class will be on Thursday,
September 27th.
Its important to know that attendance at all scheduled class sessions is
mandatory. Please don't apply if you think you will have to miss a class for
travel or other commitments.
Since the class is limited to 50 students, an application to the class is
necessary--I apologize in advance for this!
If you would like to apply, please send an updated resume to the TA, Laurence
Moore and a brief statement on why you want to take "Negotiation" and how this
class fits into your course of study. Please send applications by Monday,
September 24th to lnmoore@stanford.edu. We will post the class list by
Wednesday the 26th.
We are going to have a great quarter!
An earlier publicized link to the course’s webite on Coursework did not work for students who were not enrolled in the class on Axess or Coursework; below are further instructions to access the class’s Coursework webpage, which will be used to ditribute information and assignments throughout the quarter:
Students that are registered for the class through Axess are automatically
added to the CourseWork site for this course. For these students to access the
site, they need to:
- Go to
http://coursework.stanford.edu
- Click the login button at the top right
- Enter their SUNet ID and password, then click the redirect link
- Click the tab called " F07-CEE-151-01..."
To join the CourseWork site without officially registering for the course,
they need to:
- Go to
http://coursework.stanford.edu
- Click the login button at the top right
- Enter their SUNet ID and password, then click the redirect link
- Go to My Workspace and click Membership in the left navigation bar.
- Click the Joinable Sites link at the top of the Membership frame.
- To find the site you want to join, either browse the list of joinable sites
using the navigation buttons on the right side of the page or use the search
box. It is best to search by term (ex. F07) or department (ex. CEE).
- Click the Join link under the name of the desired course site.
- The course site will now appear as a tab in the site navigation bar (or will
be listed in the drop down menu if you already have quite a few course sites).
- You can also click on My Current Sites at the top of the Membership frame to
confirm that the course site is now in your list.
