Off campus applicants to GEM can increase the likelihood of acceptance by:
1. Submitting a transcript of undergrad grades plus any other college courses.
2. Finding 2 or 3 team mates from their remote location that can be linked with
2-3 students on Stanford campus to form a diverse team.
3. Being an HCP student rather then an NDO student
4. Forming a team to do one of our GEM sponsored projects that no other team
wants to do.
5. Registering early on Axess,
6. Submitting a resume and the course application the CAs will send out in
January.
7. Being an active member of a student led organization which uses GEM tools to
make the world a better place.
Examples of these student led organizations include:

Energy Crossroads Global
Stanford Women in Business (SWIB)
Mayfield Fellows,
Society for Women Engineers (SWE),
