Welcome to MS&E 211, 2011!

This course emphasizes formulations, theories, algorithms, and recent applications of Linear and Nonlinear Optimization---one of the central mathematical decision models in Management Science and Operations Research. Check ``Course Info'' page for more information.

Students can take the course for 3 or 4 units, and they would be treated with no difference and graded in a same pool. An additional team-based optimization project is required for those students taking the course toward an MS&E project course; and they would be graded separately. Other students can also do the project for bonus.
