Organized Excursions:
Saturday, June 18th: Golden Gate
Bridge and Sausalito
Leaving from Sheraton Hotel at 2:00 PM. The town is on a pristine waterfront, along San
Francisco Bay, at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. You will be able to
take a walk and have dinner independently or in groups (dinner is not
included in the price.)
Wed, June 22nd:
1:30 Leaving from Stanford University. A walk to the The B.
Gerald Cantor museum and the Rodin Sculpture Garden which features 20
bronzes by Auguste Rodin, including "The Gates of Hell,".
(Free, includes lunch. Part of the post-conference education event)
Palo Alto/Stanford Area:
There's plenty to see and do while in Palo Alto, the heart of the San
Francisco Bay area. Take a tour of the Stanford
Campus, stroll through local museums
and gardens, visit the shops on University Avenue in downtown Palo Alto,
or take a quick walk across the street to the nationally recognized Stanford
Shopping Center.
Just one block away, the Cal Train offers a 50-minute train ride into
downtown San Francisco where you can take in all the sites - Fisherman's
Wharf, Union Square, or Chinatown. Go wine tasting in the beautiful Napa
Valley, just one scenic hour drive away, or head south two hours to see
the Pacific Coast, Monterey, and Carmel areas.

San Francisco:
Just one block away from the Sheraton Hotel is the Cal Train which offers
a 40-minute train ride into downtown San Francisco where you can take in
all the sites - Golden Gate, Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, or Chinatown.
Other Attractions:
Go wine tasting in the beautiful Napa Valley, just one scenic hour drive
away from SF, or head south to see the Pacific Coast, Monterey, and Carmel
areas.
