

OEP is opening up specific lectures from the GES7 class to the public to reach a larger community of people who are interested in the outdoors and learning about the wilderness and wilderness skills.
THE LECTURE THIS WEEK: Are you too lazy to read a guidebook? Are the places that guidebooks recommend overcrowded because everyone is reading your guidebook? This week's lecture is for you! We will be giving you an overview of the different wilderness areas in California and the activities that they offer. The instructors have gone through and eliminated the overrated and overcrowded to bring you only the most delicious california wilderness.
WHO IS THIS LECTURE FOR?: Everyone! For people who are new the area or new to outdoor activities we will be doing an overview of the different parks and what you can expect to find there. For the more well traveled there will be some hidden gems and less known locations for your next wilderness adventure.
