GP60/EE60 Midterm instructions and exam

The midterm exam for 2006 is currently scheduled for Tuesday, October 24. The exam will be available from this web page late Monday afternoon. Download the file (pdf format) and print it out. Complete the exam within one hour and return either to my office (305 Mitchell, slip exam under the door) or to my mailbox in 360 Mitchell.

The test is open book and open notes. I recommend that you use a calculator where necessary to evaluate results, but you may leave results in algebraic expression form if you do not have a claculator.

Most of the questions will be short answer format. In all cases give enough of an answer to make your reasoning understandable.
