  • Go to the keys on the left and scroll down.   Click on "Dutch Republic" and locate the Dutch Republic (as opposed to the Spanish and French Netherlands) on the map.   Then click on "Dutch Invasion" and focus on the lowest fourth of the map, paying particular attention to the route taken by the Dutch invasion armada of1688.   Click on "Dutch Armada," "William III," "de Hooghe Engraving," "Invaders Crowned," and "Triumphal Entry," study the images and read the captions.
