Notes: Board Layout

• The components for synthesizer board are all in the box on the shelf near the door. You will need one board, one synthesizer chip (MC12181), one crystal, and one DIP switch. Because we do not have plenty of components, please do not take more than you actually need.
• Use the silver colored board. You will need to print out the board layout description plot from the above link.
• As specified as Note 1. in the layout description, do not put DIP switch pins (4 of them) through the holes because they should not be connected to ground.
• When you make holes for the BNC connectors, make sure that they are at least apart from each other by ~0.62", which accounts for the thickness of the cable connector.
