Most of you have just joined your startup and are working hard
to figure out your summer project and fit in with co-workers.
In fast growing companies like startups, it's important to get
new employees like yourself quickly up-to-speed, integrated, and
productive. Most companies use a mixture of formal orientation
and informal "on-the-job" training and coaching to make
this happen. Reflect on the orientation and training you've received
so far (or plan to get soon) and discuss the following questions.
Since this is the first question, please start by naming which startup you're at, how many people work there, and two to three sentences about the company's business so we have a context for understanding the rest of your answer. Include a description of your planned projects and contributions.
