Introduction to E140 & MFP
Summary
This first official meeting of the Mayfield Fellows Program gives us the
chance to examine the coming months of learning together. A top priority for this
particular session is to get organized with respect to E140A's teaching methods,
policies and procedures.

- Read all content posted on E140A and MFP web sites. Be prepared to ask
any outstanding questions about E140A and MFP in general.
- Review the resumes and backgrounds of your classmates. In class, please
be prepared to ask your classmates more about a specific item regarding their
experience and background. For example, you may wish to know more about
a particular student's participation on a large research project.
- Browse the line-up of speakers for MS&E472.
We expect you to take advantage of this opportunity.
- Some of you took E145 (or a similar entrepreneurship course).
For those of you who did, please come prepared to share your most helpful
"takeaway" from the course with the entire class.
- Browse any of the blogs on entrepreneurship and innovation found here.
- Consider signing up for the BASES Digest. See here for how to do so. It is a great way to keep tabs with what is happening each week on campus and beyond.
