| Description | This course covers numerical methods for solving the matrix eigenvalue problem. Related problems such as the singular value decomposition and generalized eigenvalue problems will be discussed, as well as applications such as the solution of polynomial equations, orthogonal polynomials, and numerical quadrature. |
