For problem 1.8.9:, let the height and size of an empty tree, nil, be 0 and the height and size of a leaf be 1. Problem 2.2.3 may be harder than the others.

Problems 3.4.2 (easy warm-up), 3.4.4 (could be tricky but fun), 3.4.8, and 3.4.21. The last problem is longer and important because it is a summary of what we've covered in this chapter to this point.

Problems 3.5.5, 3.5.15 (see note), 3.5.16 (a-c only), 3.6.2, 3.6.3. Note: In problem 3.5.15, only show that there is no homomorphism A3->A1 and ignore the part asking you to show that there is more than one homomorphism A2->A1.
