As mentioned in class, there will be no exams (neither midterm nor final) in this class due to the applied nature of the subject matter. There will be, however, 4 programming assignments and a final project that will be relatively involved, and that will make up for the complete grade for this course. The first four homework problems will be assigned to you. The last one is intended to be a bit longer and will serve as the final project for the class. This final project can be something you are currently working on, or, if you are not directly involved with a research project at the moment, you can choose from some alternatives we will offer. We will provide you with more details as the course progresses.
