![]() YouthSurveys is a set of software tools that helps youth research organizations make in-classroom survey administration more engaging, efficient, and less error prone. On one end, our mobile application allows survey takers to answer surveys on Android tablets instead of the old boring paper and pencil format. On the other end, our web application lets survey administrators quickly and easily create new surveys as well as to quickly access, visualize, and download results of completed surveys. |
![]() Vroom is the next generation, conferencing calling system designed to accomodate the increasingly busy and mobile lifestyle of working professionals. This Android application, developed in cooperation with BMW, aims to herald in a new age of clear, high-definition, and immersive conferencing calling for users on the road and around the world. By utilizing wireless Bluetooth audio, 4G internet, and VoIP technologies, Vroom is accelerating past the dial-in conferences bridges of yesterday towards the virtually connected conference calling experiences of tomorrow. |
![]() Phabricator is a suite of web applications that help software companies communicate about software effectively. We added a messaging and update system on top of phabricator, to help users stay aware of updates to their projects in real time. |
![]() Decorya is a social home decorating platform. We've re-imagined the home decor process by bringing it online. We give homeowners amazingly designed tools to decorate their homes. Interior decorating should be easy and affordable and we're making that happen with a focus on a virtual decorating experience, collaborative design, and local product. Users who need design help share canvases of their spaces (these can be photographs of rooms, wallpapers, carpets, etc. whatever they think represents their rooms best) along with their style and budget. Users with design sense then create collages of home decor product on top of the canvases. We also understand that decorating a home is a very physical experience. With that in mind, we offer users a large set of local products so they can feel the product before they purchase it. Decorya was designed with you in mind; it's easy to use and a snap to set up. Decorya- For the decorator in everyone. |
![]() Considerate App aims to encourage people to be more "in the moment," rather than immersed in technology. The simple act of flipping the phone face-down provides a seamless transition to "considerate mode" that silences all notifications except for those from a user-specified whitelist. A phone score encapsulates compelling statistics on phone usage behavior, which serves as a gentle reminder to be more judicious in our phone use. Considerate App is not just an app, it's a movement: to increase awareness about our phone usage habits, to empower us to approach our ideal behavior, and to redefine "social" in the increasingly technological world we live in. |
![]() Boutique.ly makes everyone a salesperson. Users create virtual storefronts that display the things they love and redirect to the retailer that sells them. Whenever someone buys an item via these storefronts, the virtual store-owner receives commission. Boutique.ly aims to create a fun and intuitive experience that will keep people engaged with storefront curation. That and the financial incentives should make everyone want to be a salesperson on our platform. It's a powerful and innovative form of marketing in which the consumer is also the advertiser. |
![]() Quizzlr is a Sporcle-style quiz application built into the facebook platform. Create quizzes, and compete against your friends! |
