FAQs

December 16, 2008

The Autumn 2008 session of CS193P is now over. We continue to get daily inquiries about the class and hope these FAQs will help answer any questions you may have.

  • Q: When will the class be offered again?
  • A: We are planning on offering the class in the Spring 2009 quarter.

  • Q: I'm not a Stanford student but would like to take the class. Will it be available via SCPD (Stanford Center for Professional Development)?
  • A: No, it will not be. The Spring quarter will only be available to Stanford students. We hope to offer the class through SCPD again during the 2009-2010 school year.

  • Q: Are the class videos available online?
  • A: No, they are no longer available online. We are exploring options to make them available, but currently they are not.

  • Q: I'm having trouble with the code for my iPhone program, may I send you my random iPhone programming question?
  • A: As much as we would love to be able to answer all your questions, our email list is not a general purpose developer support line. iPhone programming questions would be best handled in the Apple Developer Forums, available from the iPhone Dev Center at http://developer.apple.com/iphone

  • Q: Are the class materials still availalbe online?
  • A: Yes, you can still view the class lecture slides and other materials online.http://www.stanford.edu/class/cs193p/index-class.html
