Practice Midterm and Logistics

Posted by Orr Keshet on July 23, 2009

We handed out the practice midterm in class today. Some of you came and asked us if that was the real midterm. The answer is no, this is just practice material for you use as you prepare for the midterm next week. The practice midterm is also available online.

As discussed in lecture we have a survey up so that you can vote on which topics interest you the most. We will take your responses into consideration and then decide on the schedule for the rest of the quarter. You may vote for more than one choice.

Also, in order to complete assignment 4 (not out yet) you will need to activate your personal CGI service. In order to do so follow step 1 described here. It takes time to get this service activated so you should apply for an activation as soon as possible. That way your account will be ready by the time we release assignment 4.

Homework Submission and FAQ

Posted by Orr Keshet on July 2, 2009

Before you submit your first assignment you need to configure your submission directory. Instructions on how to do this are available in Handout 4: Homework Submission Instructions. Also, check out the assignments page for FAQs relating to the first assignment.
