• Why should I take this course?

  • It provides advanced knowledge of the numerical treatment of Initial Boundary Value Problems (IBVP's).
  • The ambitious student will reach a research level in scientific computing related to IBVP's
  • The ambitious student will be able to assess the validity of other researchers computational efforts related to IBVP's.

             1 14/04/11 The homeworks should be delivered and typed in Latex, Word or some other wordprocessing language. Not handwritten !
  
             2 16/04/11 Note the new slightly modifed version of the second homework !
  
             3 30/04/11 Note the new slightly modifed version of the third homework ! There was an error in equation (4) in task 5. The correct version can be uploaded. The delivery time is prolonged. See the time below.
  
             4 13/05/11 Note the new Lecture on Friday 27th. The location will be determined later. Note also that the mandatory presentation of task 4 in Homework #6 will take place Wednesday June 1st.
  
             5 19/05/11 The new extra Lecture will be in: Jen-Hsun Huang Engineering Building, Room: 8. Time: Friday, May 27, 2011, 11:00:00 AM - 12:30:00 PM.
  
             6 19/05/11 Homework # 5 must be delivered before the lecture on Wednesday 25th of May. The date has been changed.
  
             7 19/05/11 Homework # 6 must be delivered before 2pm Monday the 30th of May by email. The research issue in task 4. that you will present on Wednesday June 1st should also be named.
