"Revolutionizing Access to Space"

Only a revolution will take life from Earth and establish it permanently in extra-Terrestrial biospheres. In fact, only a revolution will reduce the costs of space faring to a point where we can satisfactorily monitor the climate of our own planet. This revolution has been in progress for decades, in places like Stanford, Surrey and Mojave, and some gains have already been made. Nevertheless, the revolution is far from complete, and I expect that the battle will still be in full swing decades from now. Since perpetuating this revolution is so important to us, as human beings and as aerospace engineers, I have tried to come up with a "Recipe for Revolution" based on what I have seen and done at SpaceX and SSTL. In this seminar, I will give you my recipe, and also present a wish-list of technologies that I and my fellow engineers at SpaceX will be demanding ten years from now, once we have established our dominance of Earth orbit transportation and are pushing hard for routine human travel to Mars.
