At Stanford University, I work in the School of Education as Professor of Education and the Learning Sciences, where I have founded and currently direct the Ph.D. program in Learning Sciences and Technology Design (LSTD).
I serve as Director of the Stanford Center for Innovations in Learning, an independent laboratory at the University, and Faculty Co-Director of the campus-wide Media-X Industry Program. My research activities include leading the DIVER Project, and co-PI leadership of the LIFE Center (Learning in Informal and Formal Environments, an NSF-funded Science of Learning Center
