Dorrick Roy, enters his first season as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Stanford football program, and the wrestling program. Prior to Stanford, Coach Roy spent two years with the football program at the University of Louisville during which time they appeared in the 2006 Gator Bowl and won the 2007 BCS FedEx Orange Bowl. Prior to Louisville, he spent one year at the University of Kansas as an intern Strength and Conditioning Coach assisting with the football program. Coach Roy also worked with the University of Utah football team during the 2003 Mountain West Conference championship season.

As a tight end at the University of Nebraska, Dorrick appeared in four bowl games and won three national championships for the Cornhuskers. After college, he was signed as a free-agent by the Oakland Raiders. Coach Roy is currently pursuing a Masters in Physical Education. He is a USAW Level 1 coach.
