Jason Quan enters
his second season as the strength and conditioning coach for Men’s
and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Golf, Men’s
and Women’s Gymnastics, Synchronized Swimming, and Diving.
Coach Quan designs and implements all aspects of the athletes' strength
and speed development programs throughout the year.
Prior to arriving
at Stanford, he worked for New Mexico State University as the strength
coach for men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball.
He was also a graduate assistant in strength and conditioning for
The University of Texas at Austin.
Coach Quan
is a native of Tucson, Arizona, and graduated from The University
of Arizona with an undergraduate degree in Physiological Science,
and from The University of Texas at Austin with a graduate degree
in Kinesiology. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
