Dena Floyd is
in her third season at Stanford as an assistant strength & conditioning
coach. Dena directs all aspects of strength and conditioning for
field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's lacrosse, and men's
and women's swimming.
Dena hails
from Richmond, Virginia, and graduated from the University of Florida
with a B.A. degree in Criminology and a minor in Education.
During her
undergraduate days at Florida, Dena was a four-year letter winner
in soccer. She helped the Gators win two SEC titles. Dena was the
winner of the Tracy Caulkins Award as the top graduating female
student-athlete. During her senior season, Dena was a NSCAA third
team All-American. She currently plays semi-pro soccer for the Sacramento
Storm.
