Dan Ammon enters
his second season as the strength and conditioning coach for track
& field, men's volleyball, men’s water polo, and women’s
water polo. Coach Ammon designs and implements all aspects of the
players' strength and speed development programs throughout the
year.
Coach Ammon
returns to the farm after being away for a year as a Sports Performance
Coach at Velocity Sports Performance in Lenexa, KS. Coach Ammon
previously served as an intern strength and conditioning coach for
the Cardinal, where he implemented strength and conditioning programs
for many of Stanford’s teams including Football and Track
& Field.
Coach Ammon
graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with an emphasis
in Exercise Physiology. While at UMKC, he spent two years as a student-assistant
track and field coach where he coached the throwing events and designed
strength and conditioning programs for the track and field team.
