I am a fifth-year graduate student in linguistics at Stanford University. Here are some of the things I am interested in:

... I am an aspiring polyglot. I speak Russian fluently and I am trying to get there with German. I have also studied Czech, French, Spanish, and Arabic. I am trying to learn Japanese right now.
In my copious free time, I work in the speech lab at SRI in Menlo Park. This fall I am teaching Intro to Phonology at San Jose State University.
Outside of my linguistic life, I enjoy gymnastics, yoga, skiing, rock music, X-files, crosswords, chocolate, and cooking vegetarian food.
