I found one account on page 206 of the 1998 edition of the AAJ, but nothing for other years. The party consisted of Fred Beckey, Dave Medara, Rick Clements Kai Hirvonnen, and Jonny Allen. Dave Medara and Jonny Allen climbed a new route on the NW face of Shot Tower on June 23 to June 24, naming it Alaskan Magnum Wall (V 5.10 A3). Rick and Kai climbed a new route on the Pyramid during the same time. Dave and Jonny then climbed the Badille via the southeast buttress (5 pitches, 5.10+). Rick and Kai climbed the West Ridge of Shot Tower at the same time. At this point everyone was worn out, so they did the east face of the West Maiden (four pitches of 5.9). On July 1, they hiked out. Fred wasn't feeling well and turned back after the 3rd day: the article commented on how Fred could still carry heavy packs at the age of 75! All the routes were done from Aiyugomahalla Creek Valley. The article (a few short paragaphs in the Climbs and Expeditions section) was written by Jonny Allen.
